Pack Sausages for Cooking Trás-os-Montes

The pack consists of:

  • 1x Butelo of approx. 1100gr.
  • 1 x Alheira sausage, approx. 200gr.
  • 1 x Moura chorizo, approx. 200gr
  • 1 x smoked belly, approx. 190gr


Constitution:

Butelo: Smoked sausage with bones and pork meat, dried with oak wood and stabilized in an electric oven. It should be cooked, for about an hour and a half on a low fire. It is a typical Carnival sausage in Trás-os-Montes and is an integral part of an excellent "cozido à Transmontana".

Alheira: Horseshoe sausage, smoked, made with pork and poultry, bread, olive oil, spices and clips. It can be eaten boiled, fried or grilled.

Chouriça Moura: Smoked sausage elaborated with pork and cow meat, pork blood, bread, salt and garlic, slowly cooked in oak wood. Traditional product from Trás-os-Montes, especially from the district of Vila Real. It can be consumed boiled, fried or grilled.

Smoked Belly: a whole piece of Pork Belly, seasoned with brine, dried in oak wood, stabilised in an electric oven. It can be consumed raw or cooked.


Butelo

Packed in a bag with approximately 1100gr.

Ingredients: Pieces of pork meat and bones, salt, white wine (SULFITS), sweet pepper, garlic, preservatives E250, sugars (LACTOSE and Sucrose), antioxidants E301 and E331, bay leaf, natural salted pork tripe, and oak wood smoke. May contain gluten. Contains bones.


Alheira sausage

Modified atmosphere plastic packaging with approx. 200gr.

Ingredients: Wheat Bread (GLUTEN), Selected pork, chicken and veal meats, pork fat (lard), salted pork tripe, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, parsley, sweet pepper, bay leaf, white pepper, sodium chloride, emulsifier (E452), acidity regulator (E331 and E262) and selected wood smoke.


Smoked Belly Strips

Packed in a bag of approx. 190 grams.

Ingredients: Boneless pork belly, salt, water, compound binder (dextrose, emulsifier E451, antioxidants E301 and E331, preservatives E250), haemoglobin and oak wood smoke. May contain traces of milk and soya proteins.


Moura Chorizo

Modified atmosphere plastic packaging with approx. 200gr.

Ingredients: Smoked sausage, consisting of pork and beef meats, pork blood, bread, salt and garlic, slow cooked with oak wood.
