The Beira Baixa flour sausage or farinheira is a sausage cured by the smoke and made with a combination of soft pork fats, wheat flour and spicy water with peppers, salt, wine, garlic, and spices.
It has the shape of horseshoe, cylindrical, with bright yellow color. The farinheira is one of the most delicious and versatile sausages we have in Portugal. The farinheira can be used to make various dishes and snacks.
