Find out which essential food products will now be exempt from VAT The Prime Minister announced, this Monday, the products in the food basket that will benefit from zero VAT until October. In total, there are 44 products from the most varied food areas. The measure comes into effect on the 1st of April and will remain in force until October.
It should be remembered that this is a measure by the Government that aims to reduce and stabilize prices, reducing the burden on families with food.
