Red Wine Superior DOC Douro 75cl - Quinta da Pacheca

This wine is made from grapes of the Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional varieties which come from vineyards planted at Quinta da Pacheca which are about 50 - 60 years old and grapes from vineyards planted near Vila Nova de Foz Côa which are 25 years old and of higher altitude. Pacheca Superior Red presents an intense young ruby colour. It is very fruity in the aroma, with evident notes of blackberries and plums, balanced with chocolate notes from the barrel. It shows balance in the mouth, with polished tannins present and a long and persistent finish. Aged for 9 months in second and third year French oak barrels. PH: 3,68. Total acidity: 5,6g/L. Dry extract: 30,7g/L. Contains sulphites. Alcohol Content: 14%.
