With the approach of summer, the days are becoming hotter and on the other hand the food is fresher and lighter to withstand the high temperatures. The recipes we present are simple, easy to prepare, quick and very tasty, so you can have a healthy and balanced meal to your taste.

Chickpeas salad

  • Cooked chickpeas
  • Maize
  • Chopped onion
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • chopped parsley
  • chopped boilled eggs
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

In a large bowl mix all the ingredients well and season. Place in a bowl and serve.

Quinoa tabbouleh

  • 1 cup of raw quinoa beans
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 1 tbsp. chopped cucumber
  • 1 teaspoon chopped onion
  • 6 mint leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Wash the beans under running water at room temperature and allow to drain in a colander. Heat the pan and add the quinoa grains stirring until they dry well. Add two and a half cups of room temperature water and cook over medium to high heat until the moment all the water is absorbed.

Rinse the beans in cold water and set aside in the fridge. Once cold, mix with the rest of the ingredients. Serve with green leaves.



Crepes with chocolate ice cream and strawberries

  • 500g chocolate ice cream
  • 250g sliced strawberries
  • 125g of flour
  • 250ml skimmed milk
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 50g of butter

First add the sifted flour and salt. Then add the eggs and the milk and mix well. When you obtain a homogeneous dough, leave it to rest in the refrigerator for about an hour.

 Grease a non-stick pan with melted butter and place a portion of dough, spreading it well over the bottom of the pan and allow it to cook on both sides. Serve with a scoop of ice cream, fruit of your choice, in this recipe we chose strawberries, and for topping you can use one of our nut butters.
